Who we are

The short version

The app works on your computer only. It does not collect, upload, sell or share your data.

What the app reads

When you choose a drive or folder and press Scan, the app reads the names, sizes, dates and locations of the files and folders inside it, so it can show you what uses the space. This information is shown on your screen and held in memory. It is not sent anywhere. The app does not read the contents of your files.

What the app saves on your computer

Your settings (for example theme and folders to skip).
Snapshots you choose to save: a list of folder paths and their sizes, stored in the app's data folder on your PC, so you can compare scans later. You can delete a snapshot inside the app at any time, and uninstalling the app removes the app data.
A local log file of errors (without file contents) to help with troubleshooting. It stays on your PC.

What the app does not do

No account or sign-in.
No analytics, advertising or tracking.
No network connection is needed or used for scanning.
It never deletes files permanently. When you choose to remove items, they move to the Recycle Bin after you confirm.

Microsoft Store

When you download the app from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes standard download and usage information under its own privacy statement. We receive only aggregated information from the Store, such as the number of installs and ratings.

Children

The app is a general utility and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
